Admission

Application Process

Plymouth Meeting Friends School accepts applications throughout the year. To apply for admission, please complete an application by January 7. Applications received after the January deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with PMFS considering applicants as space permits. We are accepting applications for 2022-2023 in select grades and for 2023-2024. Contact our Admission Office for details on openings.

The PMFS Admission Committee gives preference to siblings of current students, alumni children, faculty children, and Quakers should all other factors be equal. In accordance with our Commitment to Equity, Justice and Belonging, we aspire to be “an increasingly diverse, inclusive and nurturing community where everyone feels and creates a sense of belonging.”

  • Notification & Enrollment

The Admission Committee will use all information provided in making their decision on acceptance. Families will be notified as soon as possible once an Admissions decision has been made. When a student is accepted, families receive a letter of acceptance.

By common agreement among most area independent schools, families have until March 1 to accept or decline admission. Families sign the enrollment contract electronically, with a $750 non-refundable Enrollment Deposit (which is credited towards tuition).

PMFS continues to accept applications past March 1 providing space is available.
