What families are saying about PMFS
Academic & Social Preparedness
For me, the quality of the experience is defined by the quality of the outcome, and I could not be happier with how well my son was prepared, both academically and socially, for everything that has come after PMFS…. After my son graduated from PMFS, he entered 7th grade at another Quaker school in the area, and I continue to be impressed with how well prepared my son was for middle school and high school. - Parent (2019 review)
We toured the school when our oldest child was 3 years old and…fell in love with the social-emotional learning, nature-based play, and emphasis on community. As our child continued through the program, we became equally impressed with the caliber of progressive education our daughter received. She was seen as a unique learner, well supported when she experienced a challenge, and was excited to attend school EVERY SINGLE DAY. - Parent (2021 review)
Small & Nuturing
I could not rate my experience at this school higher. It is a small, nurturing, unique environment that will help children excel at being the person they are meant to be… Every teacher at the school knows your child deeply on so many levels. They truly love their students. They know how to reach each child individually and also to make them work as a community. - Parent (2019 review)
Why families are choosing PMFS
Open Houses & Information Sessions
Open Houses and Informational Sessions demonstrate the PMFS community, curriculum, and traditions. A full campus tour is included in the open house. Learn about our program from faculty, hear a parent perspective, and ask questions. Contact our Admission Office for a recorded Information Session to see what we’ve been talking about!
An in-person visit to our 11-acre campus will best demonstrate the Plymouth Meeting Friends School experience. Contact our Director of Admission to arrange a one-hour tour of our campus and classrooms.
Designed for children ages 2-4 (and their caregivers), Tot Time is a monthly (October – May) 45-minute activity with one of our dynamic PMFS teachers. Children have enjoyed activities from imitating farm animals with Spanish teacher Gladys to painting with Art teacher Gillian.
Check back for fall 2022-2023 events... Tot Time, Open Houses, Info Sessions, and more!
