Internal Alarms: Understanding and Supporting Childhood Anxiety
Part of a series for parents and caregivers.

Join Dr. Brianna Matey from Open Minds Psychological for a practical workshop on recognizing childhood anxiety and responding with confidence. Parents and caregivers will

  • learn how to validate feelings
  • reduce patterns of avoidance and repeated reassurance, and
  • support manageable steps toward independence.
Drawing on Eli Lebowitz’s SPACE model, the workshop offers supportive language and practical ways to support parent responses while building children’s confidence in their ability to cope with anxiety symptoms.

Childcare is available (ages 3-11) with RSVP. Click here to reserve a spot.
