Elementary Student Diversity Day, organized by GPDC

The Greater Philadelphia Diversity Collaborative (GPDC) is excited to announce Safe to Be Me, our 5th Elementary Student Diversity Day, a day to explore issues of anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusivity and activism geared toward children in grades 3 through 6. This year the event is hosted by Friends School Haverford in Haverford, PA. This day is intended to provide an opportunity for children of different backgrounds and schools to WORK and PLAY together in a variety of fun and interactive activities. It is the goal of the GPDC that by participating in this event, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their peers, while exploring issues of diversity as it relates to their world.
