Current and Upcoming Events
	We are in the home stretch of identifying our finalist candidates in our search for the next head of PMFS and we will be bringing them to campus to meet the PMFS community.    We invite PMFS parents to come meet the finalists, hear why they want to be the next head of PMFS and share with them what you love about our school.   Finalist visits with the PMFS parent community will be held in the evening in the Steinbright MultiPurpose Building on the following dates:   Thursday, November 18  Thursday, December 2    Time and details to follow in next week's Red Folder.

	Timetable
	Below is our timetable for identifying a new head of school. We will notify the community as specific events, like opportunities to meet candidates, are scheduled.   Task Target Date Approval of names for Search Committee by School Committee June 29 Letter to PMFS community July 12 Community Listening Session I July 27 Community Listening Session II August 4 Search Committee creates “Opportunity Statement” for Candidates August 6 Search Committee begins sending application packets to Candidates August 13 Extensive communication with all parts of PMFS community. August-December Consideration of Applicants for Head of School August – October Review of initial applications, telephone interviews and preliminary reference checks Late September Review any new applications, prepare for Search Committee interviews Mid-October Identification of Finalists by Search Committee with help from Search Consultant October/November Campus visits by Finalists November/December Final Report and Recommendation of Search Committee to School Committee December/January Selection of next Head of School by School Committee December/January Announcement to whole Community by Clerk of School Committee January
