Linda Cohen, of fond memory, and Robert (Robby) Cohen are the parents of Plymouth Meeting Friends School alumni Michael Cohen (1981) and Brian Cohen (1982). Both Michael and Brian participated in the Mexican Exchange during their fifth grade years. Robby and Linda felt that the Mexican Exchange helped their sons understand the world and prepared them to be world travelers. Before her death, Linda began to provide Mexican Exchange scholarships to PMFS students who had financial need. By setting up this Fund, Robby hopes to honor the generous philanthropic work started by his dear wife, Linda.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships for students in financial need, so they can participate in the school’s cultural exchange programs. Family or community members may add to the principal of the Fund at any time.
