Beginning during the school day and incorporating the annual luncheon for our oldest alumni, our celebration of the 230th anniversary of Plymouth Meeting Friends School will honor the milestones in PMFS history and celebrate the strength of our community.
The morning portion of the program honors the connection between current students and our oldest alumni (PMFS classes 1970 and earlier). The afternoon aims to connect current students, faculty, and families to PMFS history.
The celebration will begin in the Meetinghouse with a special Meeting for Worship at 10:30am. Afterward, students will return to classes and our honored alumni group will be our guests at a luncheon on campus. School Committee members and former PMFS faculty are welcome to attend the alumni luncheon.
After lunch, students will enjoy an afternoon of special activities planned to mark the many milestones in 230 years of PMFS history. The fun will continue past 3pm dismissal and a community dinner beginning at 4:30pm will top off the day. Families are encouraged to plan on joining in the afternoon events. Again, School Committee members and former PMFS faculty are welcome.
All members of the PMFS community are welcome to join in any part of the 230th Anniversary celebration.
