PMFS Weekly Announcements March 12-19, 2010
Unforeseen Cancellation of Vacation Care during Spring Break

If vacation care is cancelled for weather or other unforeseen reasons, you will be notified by phone if you have pre-registered. Many staff are also on break during spring break, so you should not assume there will be an email blast or announcement on the web in case of vacation care closing.

4th Grade Circus: in the News

News cameras from Channel 10 were on hand at the Thursday morning performance of the 4th grade circus. The segment on the 4th grade is expected to aired Friday, 3/12 on Channel 10 in the 5:30-6pm show called "Good news". Check them out if you can at  http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local-beat/Circus_School_Philadelphia.html

Correction to Spring X-day Class

It is true that we are offering Mixed Sports for 5th and 6th grade this spring. And it is true that it will be held on Wednesdays. The correct time will be 3:15-4:30pm. The time listed in the brochure is incorrect. Apologies for any confusion.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Grandparents and Special Friends Day is fast approaching. It will be held on the first Friday after Spring Break, April 9, from 8:30 to 11am. If you can help during the event, please contact Katie Hall at katieh@pmfs1780.org. Look for an invitation for your child to decorate and send to his or her grandparent or special friend in this or next week's red folder.

Welcome to Your Virtual Red Folder

For now, you will be receiving both a hard copy and an electronic copy of the weekly announcements. PMFS will be slowly transitioning to electronic-only announcements. Are you not getting these eblast announcements, but you'd like to? Contact the office with your email information!
