The Plymouth Meeting Friends School endowment consists of gifts that the school has invested in order to produce income. Endowment funds are an important financial tool for the school. Income from the PMFS endowment helps to provide scholarships, professional development for faculty, and resources to help the school recruit and retain talented teachers.
A named endowment is a permanent fund that provides annual income for PMFS programs, students, and faculty in perpetuity. You may establish a named fund with a gift of $25,000 to $1 million or more. In accordance with the investment and spending policies of the School Committee, income from a named endowed fund is directed annually to the program identified by the donor, or is used to provide flexible, unrestricted support.
