Through the generosity of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), Plymouth Meeting Friends School enjoys a wide variety of assembly programs, all of which complement our curriculum. Our assembly programs vary from science themed to cultural or historical and are designed to be enjoyed by all grades, pre-k through sixth.
Every other year we have an artist-in-residence program. The artists we select come from a broad range of art disciplines, including both the visual and performing arts. Through this program, artists come to Plymouth Meeting Friends School for an extended period of time and meet with individual classes to explore their particular art form.
PMFS assemblies are planned and organized by the Assembly Committee, which consists of four faculty members who meet regularly throughout the year. The assembly program is funded by the Plymouth Meeting Friends School PTO.
